Dr Zoe Gibbs is a senior clinical psychologist based in Melbourne’s inner northern suburbs providing psychological therapy. She offers appointments to adults and adolescents who may be struggling with issues such as:

  • Emotion regulation difficulties

  • Anxiety

  • Low, depressed or irritable mood

  • Relationship issues including romantic, familial or friendship difficulties

  • Stress and adjusting to life changes

  • Low self-esteem

  • Trauma

Supervision

Zoe is a Psychology Board of Australia approved clinical supervisor and has supervised a number of psychologists completing their registrar program as well as other experienced clinical psychologists. About Zoe

Zoe is a senior clinical psychologist with over 15years of experience working with young people, adults, parents, and families struggling with complex mental health difficulties. She completed her tertiary studies at Monash University (Bachelor of Arts/Science with Honours), and Monash University (Doctor of Psychology - Clinical) where she obtained specialist training in working with children, young people and families. Zoe has extensive experience working in public and private mental health settings in Australia, the United Kingdom and Canada. She has specialised in providing evidence based treatment for people suffering from emotional dysregulation and Complex Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, as well as for family members of impacted individuals. She has published and presented mental health research domestically and internationally.

Zoe is committed to ongoing professional development and has completed extensive specialist training in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and specialist trauma therapies (such as Internal Family Systems and Prolonged Exposure) in addition to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).

Zoe’s style is warm and friendly whilst being direct and challenging where needed.

Getting there

Public Transport: Located on the No. 96 tram line (Stop 21 Glenlyon Rd, or 22 Albert St).

Parking: 90 minutes free parking is available under the Coles in East Brunswick Village. Please follow Village Avenue from the main entrance all the way through and it will take you to the undercover parking. You don’t need a ticket unless you stay more than 90 minutes, just drive in and out.
